Malaysia 2014 GP

Malaysian Grand Prix, my first this season. Where to begin... Oh, the noise. Not the sound (that was before 2014), the noise. For the first time since I can remember, I didn't wear any ear protection. Nice for conversation, granted; but is that really an improvement? Yes, the music is gone, replaced by vacuum cleaners on steroids. Guttural Merc, smooth Renault, anonymous Ferrari. Muffle city. The cars are technological monsters, and the engines are fed with a lean supply of fuel; but not too much! That wouldn't be very green, would it. So we have low rpm engines, due to drastic fuel flow limitation. The cars are heavier, but the drivers are lighter; actually, some are bordering anorexia to allow the car + driver weight to be just at the legal limit. Not too much food for the drivers, not too much fuel for the cars, same logic. Very "modern", very politically correct. A thin world. During the race, some drivers were bad boys, and lost some points on their driver's license quota. Lewis Hamilton was impeccable, and won the race.
